It is always a pleasure to welcome new residents to our municipality. We hope you will like it her, whether you have come alone or together with your family.
Gran is a municipality with many qualities. We have a rich and visible history with many well-preserved buildings and a beautiful cultural landscape.
Gran has a good workplace coverage, several arenas for cultural and sport activities, and the nature invites to outdoor life all year round.
On our website you can find information about the municipal services, like cinema, schools and kindergartens, nursing homes, library or garbage collection. All information is in Norwegian. We hope you have Norwegian friends who can help you. You can also call our service center Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and ask for help. Telephone number 61 33 84 00.
The website also has information about voluntary associations, about sport and cultural activities, and about outdoor life in Gran.
The municipality works purposefully to facilitate good living environments and a varied working life.
